This is a unique full-time opportunity to help build and oversee a new therapy clinic that will be housed in a We Rock the Spectrum Indoor Playground Gym that will be opening in a prime Clawson, Michigan location in September 2025. Founder Ryan Seyburn, OTR seeks an exceptional Occupational Therapist with a proven track record of developing and motivating a high performing team who is interested in leading the development and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the clinic. This is a great opportunity for a therapist who would like to lead a team and help change the lives of the children we will be working with.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.
Develop and manage staff through hiring, on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities, disciplinary action and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with appropriate competencies.
Manage daily operations of the facility including staff scheduling, operational action plans, maintenance of equipment and property, patient records, and compliance logs.
In collaboration with the Founder, review annual financial performance to determine appropriate annual budget for the following year. Manage day-to-day costs and revenue within annual budget expectations.
Analyze clinic metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) according to the required review cadence to drive achievement of clinic goals. Develop and implement action plans as necessary to improve overall clinic performance.
Identify, develop and enhance business and professional relationships to drive clinic growth including but not limited to new clients and physician referrals. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e. marketing, sales, etc) to support company initiatives and expand services to meet community needs.
Work closely with the gym leadership to foster mutually beneficial relationships
Is willing to devote approximately 50% of the day to direct OT services to children for at least the first 6 months to one year of the program, and on an as needed basis thereafter
Education/ Experience:
Baccalaureate, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
Five to 10 years of direct hands-on pediatric experience and additionally, prior experience in management and leadership roles
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
Meets certification, license, and registration requirements for Occupational Therapy
Clean criminal record
CPR Certification
Ongoing participation in relevant Continuing Education
The salary, commensurate with experience is in the $125-130,000 range and includes a full benefit package.
