OVERVIEW – Established over 30 years ago, this practice has been serving the Greater Boston area providing 1:1 treatment for patients with various musculoskeletal and neurological pathologies and dysfunction. The practice enjoys deep rooted connections with referring physicians and colleagues in the area along with consistent word of mouth referrals. The practice takes a comprehensive approach to patient care and create each patient’s treatment plan through careful listening, observation, and clinical analysis. The practice is in network with Medicare, Aetna, Assurance, Always, several community health plans, Tufts, Harvard etc and out of network with Cigna. Additionally, the practice is an approved vendor for the City of Boston Police and Fire Department. and also has a strong cash based component. Average reimbursement is $86.60
In 2021 there were over 7000 productive visits including 610 new evaluations, and year to date 2022, there are over 3800 productive visits including 287 new evaluations.
FACILITIES – There are two active offices, both in prime locations.
The main office is currently in a temporary location awaiting the completed renovation of a beautiful state of the art facility in a highly desirable, ADA compliant centrally located building. The new space will be fully built out with an equipped gym with private treatment rooms. The renovation should be completed by the end of summer. Terms of the lease are excellent and the lease is renewable and transferrable.
The satellite office is located in a suburb of Boston and is approximately 1300 square foot. This office is fully equipped, on the ground floor of an ADA compliant building with ample free parking. The lease is reasonable, transferrable and renewable.
There are two highly experienced physical therapists who would be interested in staying on under new ownership.
Prior to COVID, this practice consistantly grossed over $700,000. It is slowly ramping back up and in 2021 grossed over $500,000. The practice has no debt, and low AR. Full financial information, P/L statements, practice statistics, tax returns etc. are available for review.
This practice is being offered at $250,000 for both offices. The owner is flexible and would consider offers if a serious and qualified buyer were only interested in one location.
