Opportunity for a Practice Leader/Director of Operations with a path to CEO and Earned Equity

Overview of Company

Kids Creek, located in Metro Atlanta, Georgia is a well-established pediatric therapy practice (OT, PT, Speech, and specialty services) founded by Melanie McGriff, M.Ed., CCC-SLP over 15 years ago. We’re transitioning from owner-driven operations to a professionally run, scalable organization with the goal of completing a successful sale within approximately five years.

While Kids Creek is stable and highly regarded, we haven’t yet achieved the operational performance and productivity of top-performing peers. We’re seeking a hands-on leader who’s energized by building systems, improving performance, and creating a business that can scale. The goal: build, grow, and ultimately lead the company as CEO, with the opportunity to earn equity based on results.

Overview of Position  You will take direct ownership of clinic operations and growth, with accountability for:

  • Clinician productivity and utilization
  • Staffing stability and recruiting outcomes
  • Referral growth and conversion
  • Program and service-line expansion
  • Operating discipline and accountability

Additional Details This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be hired as Practice Leader / Director of Operations, with a clear path to CEO as operational milestones are achieved.

  • Therapist productivity and capacity planning
  • Resolving operational bottlenecks and workflow issues
  • Day-to-day clinic leadership and accountability

  • Preparing the business for future diligence and sale

This Role May Be Right for You If:

  • You’ve led operations in pediatric therapy, ABA, outpatient healthcare, or a related clinical services organization
  • You’ve owned productivity, staffing, scheduling, and growth—not just supported them
  • You’ve helped grow a clinic or multi-site practice
  • You’re motivated by results, accountability, and long-term upside
  • You’re looking for more than a clinic manager or back-office role; you want to build a real healthcare services business and share meaningfully in its success

Compensation & Equity Path

Base Salary: $90,000–$120,000 depending on experience

Performance Bonus: Meaningful bonus tied to delivered treatment hours, productivity improvement, profitability milestones, and growth outcomes

Equity Opportunity (Earned, Not Granted): 15–20%, with potential for additional upside based on exceptional performance. Equity vests upon achievement of agreed operational and financial milestones, sustained profitability, and continued leadership tenure. This is designed for someone who wants to build long-term value and participate meaningfully in a future exit.

Please Note We’re not looking for an advisor, consultant, or fractional leader. We need someone comfortable being directly accountable for revenue, utilization, and growth—not just administration or compliance.
