Overview –  Fuction Junction NYC is a well established and highly regarded pediatric Occupational Therapy private practice.  The practice has an opening in its  Midtown east side office ( 135 East 50th Street). The practice works 1:1  with  children and teenagers from age 1-17 who have a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to ADD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Communication Impairment and repetitive restricted behaviors, CP, Down Syndrome, variety of genetic chromosomal disorders, Learning disabilities, visual delays, sensory processing disorder, eating/feeding issues, and social emotional delays.

There is a great team of experienced therapists that are trained in multiple areas including  Handwriting Without Tears Training,  Astronaut Vestibular Visual Training, Therapeutic Listening Program, Sensory Integration Treatment, Irlen Syndrome Screening., Feeding and Oral Motor Treatment  NDT and Myofascial Release Therapy  Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy  Kinesiotaping and  Executive Functioning treatment programs.

The office is fully equipped as a sensory gym and follows all COVID precautions.

The Position – 
The therapist should  have at least 10 years of experience working in pediatrics and have at least 3 years of experience working at a sensory gym. Currently they should be available 1-2 afternoons a week for evaluations, in person, and occasional virtual sessions. Rates are competitive and therapist will be treated as an Independent Contractor.
