IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR PEDIATRIC OTS IN THE LARCHMONT NY OFFICE – SEPTEMBER 2021 OPENINGS IN THE NYC OFFICE
Just Play Gyms, a well established and highly regarded Pediatric sensory gyms in NYC and Westchester has an immediate opening in their Larchmont location. We are looking for an experienced Licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist to work 2 days a week providing occupational therapy services to the pediatric population. Just Play Gyms is located in the village of Larchmont NY, just 19 miles from the city and 1/4 mile walk from the nearest Metro North train station.
Job responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive Evaluations in areas of sensory-motor development including sensory processing, gross and fine motor skills, school functioning, handwriting and self-care skills using standardized assessment tools
- Individualized, goal-oriented treatment in a sensory gym environment
- School Evaluations and consultations in the community, home visits and the ability to work with the child’s care team in an interdisciplinary way.
- Educating family members and caregivers on providing useful tools and strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over to home and school environments.
The right candidate must have at least 4 years of experience working in the Pediatric setting and have the ability to work independently. There will also be an opening for a therapist to join Just Play Gyms’ New York City location in September for the 2021/2022 school years.
